Where We Come From
MBCS was built on a foundation of military construction engineering. Jeffrey Baillargeon's career began in the US Coast Guard as a Construction Engineer — an experience that shaped how MBCS approaches every project: disciplined planning, precise execution, and a relentless focus on getting it done right, on schedule, in demanding conditions.
MBCS has been in business for since 2019 and is based in Claremont and Charlestown, NH. We work exclusively in New Hampshire and Vermont — and for federal work, wherever that work takes us.
That background translated directly into a career of government heavy civil work — delivering for the US Army Corps of Engineers, US National Park Service, US Forest Service, the State of Washington (Clallam and Jefferson counties), NHDOT, VTrans, and numerous municipalities across New England.
How We Work
Who We Work For
MBCS works primarily with government agencies, state transportation departments, municipalities, and large commercial clients on complex projects. Our client history includes:
New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT)
Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans)
US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
US National Park Service
US Forest Service
State of Washington — Clallam & Jefferson Counties
Rockingham Conservation District
Numerous NH and VT municipalities
Large and complex commercial projects
MBCS operates throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. For federal work on federal reservations and lands, we go wherever the project requires. We do not pursue projects outside of NH and VT unless they are federally contracted.
